Industrial machines for printing on multimaterial
They represent perhaps one of the most admirable examples of synergy between the worlds of mechanical design and electrical engineering, and without realizing it they impact the daily lives of each of us, every time we grab and unwrap a package to grasp the product enclosed within.
Industrial packaging machines, specifically multimaterial printing presses, can almost be compared to a human body.

A focused approach to press design through modular solutions.
The organs, formed by the printing elements such as the web drying and storage systems, are enclosed in a massive framework represented by solid mechanical carpentry work consisting of trusses and bolts. Hydraulic, hydraulic, pneumatic and aeration ducts make heat exchangers and smoke evacuation operational, effectively representing an efficient lymphatic system. And finally, the mind that commands and manages every process that is implemented in these complex machines: a combination of plcs and computers, connected with the rest of the system by appropriately sized wiring.
Each machine is modular: printing elements, drying tunnels, unwinders and winders can vary in number and position according to customer needs. It follows that all plant engineering should also be adaptable to changes in layout.
Precisely because of this nature, the approach to the design of these machines will have to be focused by providing for the assembly of the various modules and going on to make improvements or adaptations to the individual components, depending also on the space made available in the customer's plant.
Thanks to modularity, it will be possible to cover the countless market needs, which require different printing techniques for the different types of materials that can be printed: printing on paper, plastic materials, glossy or matte, etc.
