During the process of making many products, it is necessary to provide a cooling station.
This is the case, for example, with brake pads destined for the automotive sector, which, once they leave furnaces where they are subjected to temperatures of 600 to 700 °C to impart the appropriate mechanical strength characteristics, will have to be cooled to make subsequent processing steps possible.
The expectedgoal is to achieve considerable cooling of the tablets coming out of the furnace, possibly using an extremely small space within the plant's production department.
The study of thermodynamic and fluid dynamic aspects is the starting point, against which an electromechanical design characterized by a compact and efficient layout is developed.
